It involved proving the triangle must be congruent to its mirror image (i.e. drawing the triangle on a piece of paper and flipping the paper over), and hence the base angles (or sides) must be congruent. I had never seen this idea mentioned anywhere (although subsequently a computer program apparently stumbled on it). She was one very smart lady ;)<br />CESDewarAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17523766234771947719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699431508730375743.post-70769825982135172522012-05-03T10:57:05.997-07:002012-05-03T10:57:05.997-07:00Thank you for providing references to those papers...Thank you for providing references to those papers!Danny Yoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04298793721597988477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699431508730375743.post-18922275680984796312012-05-03T00:05:39.428-07:002012-05-03T00:05:39.428-07:00This is great; I'm planning to teach Python to...This is great; I'm planning to teach Python to programming novices (psychologists, specifically), and historical insights like this will be very nice additions to the material.
